Zara Canada Closes Bloor Street Location

Zara Canada is a high fashion brand in Canada. The store features clothing, accessories, shoes, swimwear, and other accessories for the fashionable woman. Their merchandise ranges from clothing and accessories to beauty products and perfumes. You’ll find a wide variety of styles at the store, so you’re sure to find something to match your unique style. Founded in 1984, the company is a subsidiary of Spanish fashion giant Inditex.

CF Toronto Eaton Centre

Zara Canada has opened a new flagship location at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The store, which will be located on levels three and four, will feature the brand’s complete collection for male and female shoppers. In addition to women’s clothing, the new location will offer a full collection of ZARA Kids clothing, which will make it one of the first locations of the brand to be located in downtown Toronto.

The newly-opened Zara Canada at CF Toronto Eaton Center is part of the expansion of the Level 2 area, which has welcomed 23 new retailers. The expansion includes Rudsak, Pandora, Gerry Weber, and Oak + Fort. Currently, the mall is undergoing a $500 million development project, which is expected to see more high-end brands join the mix. Nordstrom is also expected to move into the mall in 2016.

The store has an expanded men’s department, which is nearly the entire second floor. This men’s section is connected to the women’s section by a glass mirror staircase and is accessed from the fourth floor of the mall. A new men’s offering is the ZARA Studio Collection, which is characterized by a more sophisticated look. The new store will also feature many items from the brand’s latest collections.

After opening in 2000, the brand has expanded its reach into the Canadian market. It now carries men’s clothing and apparel as well as women’s apparel, but there are a number of other locations in the city that will serve the same function. Zara Canada at CF Toronto Eaton Centre has a generous 10,000 square foot space and will likely be in a redevelopment of the store’s former Marks & Spencer location.

The CF Toronto Eaton Centre also features a 33-storey tower known as the Simpson Tower. It was completed in 1969, and later became a part of the Eaton Centre when Cadillac Fairview purchased the former Hudson’s Bay block. A skywalk and underground Path network link the two buildings. The main retail mall is connected to the Hudson’s Bay Queen Street complex through the new walkways.

CF Montreal

The popular fast-fashion retailer Zara is closing its Bloor Street location at the end of the month. The Bloor Street location is 5,910 square feet and contains 4,472 square feet of retail space. The store opened on April 11, 2000, and is located in Holt Renfrew. Zara has also operated a store on Place Montreal Trust but has closed this location as well. This news is disappointing, but there’s good news for Zara fans: the company still has many stores in Toronto.

The flagship store in Montreal continues to be the largest Zara store in Canada, with 13,281 square feet of floor space at street level and 17,523 square feet of floor space on the lower level. There are three floors of the store, with a total space of 30,800 square feet. The largest Zara location in the United States is located at 700 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, which measures 33840 square feet on three floors.
